Service and Outreach Subcommittee
The Service and Outreach subcommittee is hosting a Weed Warrior volunteering event to remove invasive plants at Sligo Creek Stream Valley Park.
When: Saturday, November 18 at 9 a.m.–11:00 a.m.
Where: 15131 Anacostia Tributary Trail System, Silver Spring, MD 20901 (Google Maps)
This event requires registration. Please fill out the reservation form by Thursday, November 16.

What to wear and bring?
- Wear long pants that cover your ankles, long sleeves, and sturdy, closed-toed shoes or boots.
- If you have them—bring gardening gloves and/or hand pruners. We will also have tools and gloves if you don't have your own.
- Bring water to hydrate!
